The Thirdspace Theory of Edward Soja exposes a dynamic, contradicting and heterogeneous space when used to analyze the real picture of literature. Grounded on the nature of spatial ontology, not only does the theory deconstruct the reflection nature of literature, but also breaks the boundary between the classical and popular literature. In a Utopian space combined with reality and imagination, through the effect of estrangement and cognition, science fictions play the same role as the mainstream literary works by exploring the living conditions of human beings and making reflective judgments of social reality.
