Content Analysis of Highly Cited Papers in JASIST and Its Enlightenment

[目的/意义]针对学界探索重新定位情报学以适应新时代需要,试图借助《情报科学与技术学会会刊》(JASIST)近5年高被引论文内容分析探索情报学定位的微观内涵。[方法/过程]依计量研究、信息获取、信息行为、学科评论等主题领域分析内容并选评样本成果。[结果/结论]梳理发现,海外情报学在重视学科传统的同时日益拓展学科边界,以心理学和社会学等跨学科方法提升科学理论化水平,研究原创性水平高,重视大数据等新兴主题探究等特点,以上内容值得我国情报学未来发展参考。

[Purpose/Significance] Aiming at the need of repositioning information science in order to meet the needs of the new era, this paper explores the micro-connotation of the future development of information science by the highly cited papers in JASIST in recent 5 years.[Method/Process] The paper reviews samples in terms of five categories naming metrics research, information acquisition, information behavior, LIS review.[Result/Conclusion] The result shows that information science overseas attaches great importance to the discipline tradition while expanding the discipline boundaries, improving the level of scientific theorization by interdisciplinary methods such as psychology and sociology, and paying attention to the integration of emerging technologies such as big data. The above findings are worthy of our reference.
