With the increasing awareness for environmental protection in China,more attention has been paid to smooth operation of sulfur recovery unit in refineries. Therefore,corrosion issue becomes the key and difficult point in management of the unit.Corrosive medium source and corrosion mechanism in the process of sulfur recovery unit were analyzed. Corrosion-prone parts,typical cases,anti-corrosion measures of unit and process for each part of the unit were elaborated in detail. Anti-corrosion management methods were suggested accordingly.
