The competency of historical materialism is an important part in history subject.Historical materi.alism emphasizes the application of the basic principles,views and methods to analyze historical phenomena.Through the analysis of well-chosen typical college entrance examination questions,this paper deeply interprets the connotation of the competency level 3 to 4 based on historical materialism,the dialectical relation between pro.ductivity and production,the dialectical relation between economic foundation and superstructure,the questions among class struggle,social development and the important role of the people in historical development.Mean.while,this paper puts forward relevant teaching advice,which helps to put the historical materialism into practice in history teaching.
