Research on Problem of Full Coverage of Criminal Cases Defense

刑事案件律师辩护全覆盖试点工作于2017年起在8个省份陆续展开。该项工作开展半年多以来,各试点地区的刑事案件辩护率不断提升,在保障被告人辩护权、推进以审判为中心的刑事诉讼改革,加强被告人人权保障等方面发挥了积极有效的作用。通过梳理各试点地区的做法,希望为刑事案件律师辩护全覆盖的立法提供参考。

The pilot work of full coverage of lawyers'defence in criminal cases was launched in eight provinces in 2017.Since the implementation of this work for more than half a year,the defense rate of criminal cases in various pilot areas has been continuously improved.It has played an active and effective role in safeguarding the right to defend people,advancing trial-centered criminal litigation reform and strengthening the human rights protection of defendants.By sorting out the practices in various pilot areas,the paper hopes to provide a reference for the criminal law lawyers to defend the full coverage of the legislation.
