抗战岁月中的灿然锋芒——谈鲁迅思想影响下版画家沃渣的艺术创作

The Shining Light of the Anti-Japanese War:Wo Zha's Art and His Wood Carving Printmaking

鲁迅是新兴木刻运动的导师,倡导"为大众而艺术",这成为新青年中艺术创作的精神启蒙。沃渣是早期新兴木刻运动的参与者,受到鲁迅思想指引。抗战期间,沃渣在延安鲁艺、晋察冀边区华北联大进行教学和创作。沃渣的版画结合战事政治宣传和艺术探索,在国家危难时期,对民族的悲情命运切入时弊,揭示世态,以悲天悯人的胸襟反映民生,立场爱憎分明。他主张"为人生而艺术"的思想,以国家命运为艺术创作的核心,讴歌民族、讴赞生活,坚守批判现实主义的艺术思路,创作出反映革命现实主义的经典力作。

Lu Xun is the mentor of the new woodblock movement, advocating "Art for the Masses", which is the spiritual enlightenment of artistic creation for the new youth. Influenced by Lu Xun, Wo Zha is a participator of the early emerging woodcarving movement. During the war of resistance against Japan, Wo Zha teaches and creats works at Lu Xun Academy of Arts in Yan’an and North-China United University in Shanxi-Chahaer-Hebei Border Region.During the war, his artistic creation combines with the folk art woodcut New Year paintings, opening up a new way of artistic expression. Wo Zha’s prints combine the political propaganda and artistic exploration of the war, needling social ills, the tragedy and fate of the nation in the period of national crisis, revealing the ways of the world, reflecting people’s livelihood with compassion’s mind, and taking clear-cut positions of love and hate. He stands for "art for life’s sake", with the fate of the nation as the core of the artistic creation, eulogizing the people and life, sticking to critical realism, creating classic works reflecting the revolutionary realism.
