Wang Yangming's Study of the Thought of “Unity of Knowledge and Practice”

王阳明心学之"知行合一"的思想,是中国古代哲学中认识论和实践论的命题,主要关涉个人修养、道德实践方面,有着十分重大的意义,对后世影响巨大。本文从知行的本体、心的概念、本体与功夫等方面探讨了王阳明"知行合一"的理论,揭示出王阳明肯认的人的存在是经验的,认识的、观念的心和物在道德的、功夫的基础上完成统一,而该实践之思想即"知行合一",强调在存在的形而上学上本体的良知难免会局限在精神活动中展开。

Wang Yangming's study of the thought of "unity of knowledge and practice", is the epistemology and practice in the thesis in ancient Chinese philosophy, mainly relating to personal accomplishment and moral practice, has the extremely major significance and great influence on later generations. This paper discusses Wang yangming's theory of "unity of knowledge and practice" from the aspects of ontology, concept, noumenon and endeavor, reveals that Wang yangming considers human existence is experiential,the mind and object of the idea accomplishes unification on the basis of moral endeavor unification, and the thoughts of the practice is "unity of knowledge and practice", emphasizing on the ontology of conscience in the presence of metaphysics inevitably limited in mental activity.
