摘要
近代佛教复兴代表人物杨仁山先生创立金陵刻经处,一方面刻印经书,一方面培养人才,其学术志趣是兼顾各宗而归于净土。由于人生转折的契机在于阅读《大乘起信论》,故极其推崇此部著作。而接班人欧阳竟无则偏好有宗,并不惜余力地证明《大乘起信论》是伪作,引发了教界、学界的争鸣,也改变了内学院办学的志趣。其中原委大致与当时中日学界的讨论形势以及个人名利心相关。
Mr. Yang Renshan, representative of Buddhism revival in the contemporary China, established Jinling Buddhist Scriptures Publishing House. It published Buddhism doctrines and cultivated Buddhism talents as well, and its academic interest was to study all the Buddhism branches while returning to Sukhavati. Because the turning point in his life was reading the Awakening of Faith in the Mahayana Doctrine, Mr. Yang Renshan praised highly of this book. While his successor Ouyang Jingwu preferred Buddhism schools and spared efforts to falsify the Awakening of Faith in the Mahayana Doctrine. It led to the contention in Buddhism circles and academic circles, and changed the academic interest of the college. The contention and the change attribute to the then China Japancontention situation and desire for fame and fortune.
