METHODS: In order to adapt to the changes in the construction market, to maintain the reasonable interests of both parties, starting from the labor market price and the labor subcontract price, the effect of the change in labor price on the labor cost of the project and the adjustment measures were elaborated, and examples were adopted. Based on the characteristics of the labor market price, this paper puts forward the specific adjustment method of labor cost when the labor market price changes, then determines the amount of contract price adjustment, and improves the performance efficiency of the contract. Conclusion: Under the condition that the supply and demand of the construction market and the price level fluctuate frequently, the labor cost of the construction cost is also in constant change, which has brought about a certain impact on the control of construction cost. Therefore, the reasonable control of labor cost can solve the disputes arising from the adjustment of contract price in the course of construction, so as to improve the efficiency of construction and ensure the healthy development of the construction market.
