倗季凤鸟尊器考

Textual research on the Peng Ji Phoenix Bronze Zun of the Western Zhou Dynasty

商周时期,中国步入青铜时代的巅峰,出现了大量国之重器,其工艺之精可谓世间罕见。收藏于保利艺术博物馆的众多青铜器中,一件形态特殊的器物受到了国内外的广泛关注,器上铸有清晰的"倗季"字样,涉及到文献未曾记载的倗国,与晋国出土的晋侯鸟尊较为相似,具有重要的研究价值。

During the Shang and Zhou dynasties,China stepped into the peak of the Bronze Age,and a number of important utensils appeared.Among the numerous bronzes collected in the Poly Art Museum,a special one has attracted wide attention.The words “Peng Ji” cast on the utensil are related to the state of Peng,which has not been documented in the literatures.It is similar to the artifacts unearthed in Jin State and has important research value.
