上博简(八)《王居》“关”地望考

Textual Research on the Location of“Xunguan”in Wang Ju from Chu Bamboo Slips Collected by Shanghai Museum

《上博简(八)·王居》中有地名曰"关",有学者以为其应是《华阳国志》中的"阳关"。实际上,"阳关"乃战国时期巴、楚界上之关,在今重庆涪陵北部一带,而春秋时期巴楚对峙在汉水中游,尚不及阳关。阳关乃战国以后巴人拒楚所设,不当属楚。根据春秋中晚期楚国疆域扩张的地缘格局来看,此"关"应当为春秋时期泗水沿线交通要邑彭城一带的重要关隘。

In Wang Ju from Chu Bamboo Slips collected by Shanghai Museum,there is a place named “Xunguan”,which some scholars think should be the same as “Yangguan” in Huayang Guozhi.In fact,“Yangguan” was a gateway on the border between Ba and Chu in the Warring States Period.It was in the northern Fuling area of Chongqing today,while the confrontation between Ba and Chu in the Spring and Autumn Period was in the middle of Hanshui River and had not yet reached Yangguan.Yangguan was set up by the Ba people to resist Chu after the Warring States Period,which should not belong to Chu.According to the geographical pattern of Chu’s territorial expansion in the middle and late Spring and Autumn Period,“Xunguan” should be an important pass around Pengcheng,a major transportation city along Sishui river in the Spring and Autumn Period.
