美国一流高校图书馆科研支持服务调查与启示

Investigation and Enlightenment of Research Support Service of American First-class University Libraries

[目的/意义]借鉴美国一流高校图书馆科研支持服务经验,探索适合我国高校图书馆的科研支持服务发展道路。[方法/过程]运用案例调查法和比较分析法,选取中美两国排名前30的高校图书馆进行调查、比较和分析。[结果/结论]与我国相比,较多的美国高校图书馆设置科研支持服务专门栏目,服务内容丰富并且能贯穿用户培训、研究选题、基金申请、调查试验、论文写作、成果存储和共享推广等科研活动全过程。我国高校图书馆应该以科研用户为中心嵌入科研活动过程,深化资源导航、参考咨询和学科馆员等传统服务,拓展科学数据管理、学术出版和版权建议等新兴服务。

[Purpose/Significance]Drawing on the experience of the first-class university libraries in the United States,the article explored the development path of research support services suitable for Chinese university libraries.[Method/Process]Using the case investigation method and comparative analysis method,the article selected the top 30 university libraries in China and the United States for investigation,comparison and analysis.[Result/Conclusion]Compared with China,More American university libraries set up special columns for research support services,and the services were rich in content and can run through the whole research process,such as user training,research topic selection,fund application,survey and experiment,essay writing,result storage and sharing promotion.Chinese university libraries should embed research activities centered on users,deepen traditional services such as resource navigation,reference consulting and subject librarians,and expand emerging services such as research data management,academic publishing and copyright advice.
