From Chinese Frontiers to African Continent——An Interview of Anthropologist(No.84)

中国是在一个在洲际规模上发展起来的内部文化高度多样性的国家,自古就有着多民族的治理体系。中国提出"人类命运共同体",就是中国文化能够平等地看待不同文化,视人类为一整体。中国非洲学建设刚刚起步,要在借鉴国外研究成果的基础上,做到"一线体验、一手资料、一流人脉",形成自己的原创性发展。

According to Prof. Liu Hongwu, China is a country with high diversity of internal cultures developing in a continental scale, and its multi-ethnic governance system has a long history. The initiative of "a community of shared future for mankind" results from the fact that Chinese culture treats other cultures on an equal footing and considers human being as a whole. As the African studies just take the first step of development in China, so we should guarantee the primary experience, first-hand data source and best network on the basis of the western research results.
