儒家哲学发展的方向——评《唐君毅先生年谱长编》

A New Direction of Confucian Philosophy:A Comment on A Long Chronicle of Mr.Tang Junyi

《唐君毅先生年谱长编》是迄今为止最完备的一部唐君毅年谱。《长编》凸显了"‘学术年谱’的特性",注意到了唐君毅哲学对儒家哲学现代发展的三点根本意义:一是"现代转型"的主题,二是"释本开新"的路径,三是"以中化西"的立场。这应当是当代儒家哲学发展的基本方向。但在如何实现这三点意义的问题上,唐先生的某些观点是可以商榷的。《长编》对唐先生的哲学成就讲得很充分,但缺乏应有的反思批评。

A Long Chronicle of Mr.Tang Junyi is by far the most complete Chronicle of Tang Junyi.It highlights the characteristics of"academic chronicle",and noticed the three fundamental significances of Tang Junyi’s philosophy for the modern development of Confucian philosophy,namely,the theme of"modern transformation",the route of"opening the new by explaining the root"and the standpoint of"converting the Western by the Sinitic".It should be the cardinal development direction of contemporary Confucian philosophy.However,on the issue how to actualize the three significances,some viewpoints of Mr.Tang’s are open to question.It is very full for Chronicle to speak about the philosophical achievements of Mr.Tang’s,yet is lack of due reflective criticism.
