金融集聚对碳减排的空间溢出与门槛效应——基于我国东部地区面板数据的实证分析

Spatial Spillover and Threshold Effects of the Financial Agglomeration on Carbon Emission Reduction——An Empirical Analysis Based on the Eastern Part of China

文章基于我国东部地区的面板数据,采用面板门槛回归模型,检验东部地区金融产业集聚与碳排放之间的非线性空间联系。研究发现:东部省市的金融集聚对碳排放的影响存在较显著的门槛效应,分别以科技水平、能源强度和经济发展为门槛时单一门槛效应显著;确定金融集聚的单一门槛效应后对金融集聚门槛回归发现,整个模型拟合度较好,模型具有合理性;科技水平、能源强度、经济发展等控制变量对碳排放的弹性为正,政府激励和产业结构对碳排放的弹性为负。而金融集聚对碳排放的影响因门槛变量的不同而不同,表现出较强的门槛效应。建议如下:重视产业集聚与区域减排,加强政府激励;实现规模低碳效益,发挥金融集聚正外部性;促进产业结构优化,转变经济增长方式;发展低碳技术,改善能源消费结构;有效发展低碳金融,积极开展绿色信贷业务。

Based on panel data of the eastern part of China,the writer used panel threshold regression model to test the non-linear spatial relationship between financial industry agglomeration and carbon emissions.The results show that:firstly,there is significant threshold effect of financial agglomeration on carbon emissions in eastern provinces and cities.The single threshold model is significant under the threshold of technology level,energy intensity and economic development;secondly,the regression of financial agglomeration threshold shows that the model fits well and the model is reasonable;thirdly,the elasticity of control variables such as the level of science and technology,energy intensity and economic development to carbon emissions is positive,while the elasticity of government incentives and industrial structure to carbon emissions is negative.The impact of financial agglomeration on carbon emissions varies with different threshold variables,showing a strong threshold effect.Therefore,the following suggestions are put forward:we need to attach importance to the effect of industrial agglomeration on pollution reduction and strengthen government incentives;we should achieve the low-carbon benefits,which is playing the positive externality;we should develop low-carbon finance and actively develop green credit business;we should promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and change the extensive mode of economic growth;we should develop low-carbon technology in order to change the energy consumption structure.
