摘要
新市场是辛亥革命后杭州市政当局在旗营旧地上开辟的新商业区,当局期望新市场能够改变杭州的商业格局,繁荣湖滨一带的商业经济,形成新的商业中心。通过对民国时期杭州商业数据的量化分析发现,杭州新市场的商业兴盛仅仅局限于休闲商业,商业中心并未从清河坊、羊坝头一带向新市场转移,其中的原因与杭州的城市格局、人口密度以及市政当局的政策措施等有十分紧密的关系。
The New Market that was built on the Flag Camp ( Qing Dynasty) by Hangzhou municipal government after the 1911 Revolution aimed to reshape the traditional business structure of Hangzhou, and build a new commercial hub bythriving the lakeside business. However, we found that the business of New Market was limited to the leisure commerce through our quantitative analysis of the commercial data from the Republic of China Era, the commercial hub had not transferred to the New Market from the traditional Qinghefang and Yangbadou area, due to the basic layout of Hangzhou city, population density and the measures of Hangzhou municipal government.
