This paper expounds the drawbacks of traditional teaching mode and the advantages of using information-based teaching methods in training courses teaching.Taking the project of"Twisted-pair Cable and Their Making"as an example,basing on the analysis of the learning situation of students in higher vocational colleges,this article discusses in detail how to use information methods to design instructional courses for practical training to improve teaching effectiveness and student learning efficiency,and to actively explore and practice the teaching mode of the information age.
