Spinal tuberculosis is one of the most important diseases that endanger human health,especially in countries with low health levels and poor economic development.It is a chronic infectious disease with mild symptoms in the early stages of the disease and may not be taken seriously by patients.At the same time,due to economic constraints,most patients prefer treatments such as traditional Chinese medicine and folk remedies.These informal treatments are difficult to control the progress of the disease.As the condition worsens,the related symptoms will become more and more obvious,seriously affecting the quality of life and work of the patients.In order to improve the public's understanding of the disease,this article reviews the pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment of spinal tuberculosis.
