骨科资料数据库在本科教学中的应用

Application of Orthopedic Database in Undergraduate Students Teaching

目的骨科专业性强,学习难度大,通过教学改革探索新的教学模式。方法本研究从临床病例入手,通过构建以病例为基础的骨科临床资料数据库,将临床病例、多媒体资料、仿真教学整合于一体,并将数据库应用于本科实习生教学,共60人纳入研究。所有实习生出科接受理论、技能考核及问卷调查。结果所有学生均通过考核,优秀率分别为临床医学系72.4%,影像医学系68.8%,全科医学系66.9%;问卷调查结果显示大多数学生对于这种教学方式表示满意,对采用数据库进行临床教学都采取积极态度,对骨科专业的临床实习更有兴趣,更加积极主动的学习。结论以病例为基础的骨科资料数据库有助于提高本科教学水平,结果需要更大样本验证。

Objective Based on the fact that orthopedics is a relatively professional and difficult discipline, this study aims to explore a new teaching model. Methods This study established a case-based orthopedic database which integrated the clinical cases, multimedia data and simulating teaching, and applied it to the teaching progress for undergraduate students. 60 undergraduate students were included in this study, all of the students were required to take in the final theoretical examination and skill assessment, as well as questionnaire investigation. Results According to the results of their performance in the examination, all students passed the examination, and the pass rates of students from clinical medicine, medical image and general practice medicine were 72.4%, 68.8% and 66.9%, respectively. Besides, most of included students showed a positive attitude towards this database according to a questionnaire survey, speaking highly of the role of the database in arousing their interest as well as improving their clinical skills. Conclusion The case-based database plays an important role in improving teaching for undergraduate students, but still a study with a bigger sample size is needed to draw a robust conclusion.
