摘要
本文介绍了我校《新闻英语》课程基于校内SPOC的混合式教学改革设计与实践。该教学设计将课堂重构为"视频微课+音频新闻讲解+线下面授"三部分,践行"以学生为中心"的教学理念,以有效提高学生阅读英语新闻的能力为改革目标。对学生的问卷调查数据表明,混合式教学适用于《新闻英语》,对大学英语课程改革有一定的借鉴意义。
This study probes into the implementation of a SPOC-based blended learning model in Journalistic English in Zhejiang International Studies University,with a view to enhancing learning effectiveness by employing student-centered teaching strategies.The implementation is based on a"micro lecture+news analysis+classroom teaching"pedagogic framework to equip students with knowledge of journalistic English and ability to read English news articles critically.Analysis of the students'feedback showed that the SPOC-based blended learning model in Journalistic English is welcomed by the students.The study is expected to provide a reference for the application of blended learning in other college English courses.
