运用语句对译及分析英汉表达差异提高中学生英语课文背诵效果——以《新概念英语第二册》课文为例

摘要 课文背默在英语学习中发挥着重要的作用,英汉语句对译能有效地帮助学生完成这一学习任务。本文笔者把《新概念英语第二册》课文逐词逐句进行英汉对译,通过向学生讲授分析英汉表达差异,帮助他们规避母语带来的负迁移,从而使得他们能够轻松地应对背默任务。同时笔者设计了对应的汉英模仿翻译,帮助学生巩固背诵效果。学生在活学活用背诵词汇和句型的同时,极大地增强了学习英语的积极性,提高了对英语的认知。 Memorizing texts plays an important role in English learning for Chinese students.Word-forword translation is an effective way to help Chinese ESL students finish this task.New concept English Book Two is a textbook which is a good additional teaching material.By reciting and memorizing the text from New concept English Book Two word for word as well as summarizing the grammatical differences between English and Chinese,Chinese high school students can easily remember more vocabulary and sentence patterns under the supervision of their English teacher.In addition,imitating the structures they have learned when memorizing the texts is also very helpful in encouraging them to use English in speaking and writing.Besides,students can develop a great interest in learning English.At the same time,they can build up their confidence in using English both in spoken English as well as in written English.
