Practice from the Forest Supervisor System to Good Long-term Forest Management

林长制是继河长制之后,全面践行绿色发展理念的又一项改革探索和创新实践。2017年7月,安庆市召开林长制启动大会,成为全国率先探索实施林长制的地区之一。在日益突出的生态环境压力下,该市立足市情,寻求突破,在林长制的探索中走出了一条生态环境改善、治理能力提升、绿色持续发展之路。

The forest supervisor system is another reform exploration and innovation practice after the river supervisor system in fully practicing the green development concept. In July, 2017, the kick-off meeting for the forest supervisor system was held in Anqing City and Anqing has become one of the pioneering regions in exploring and practicing the forest supervisor system. Under pressure of ever-graving environmental problems, the city, based on its own realities, has been seeking breakthroughs in exploring the forest supervisor system and has created a road of improved eco-environment and governance capacity and sustainable green development.
