Deng Xiaoping’s Theory of Reform and Opening-up and Lenin’s New Economic Policy

列宁作为世界上第一个社会主义国家的缔造者,在建设社会主义的过程中,提出了新经济政策;邓小平作为世界上最大的发展中国家的领导人,在继承列宁思路的基础上,对其进行创造性发展,做出了改革开放的伟大决策。经过对列宁新经济政策和邓小平改革开放思想的比较研究发现,二者在许多方面有着相似之处:他们都认为建设社会主义是一项长期的任务,应把经济建设作为建设的重点;他们都以解决农村问题为突破口,逐渐实行改革开放;他们都主张借助资本主义发展社会主义。同时,邓小平在继承列宁思路的时候,又超越了列宁的思想,从"现在一切都在于实践"的思想到生产力标准和"三个有利于"标准,从反对空喊到不搞争论,从有限的改革开放到全面的改革开放,再到政策的被破坏和政策的连续性,都体现了邓小平改革开放理论对列宁思路的超越。

As the founder of the first socialist country in the world,Lenin put forward the new economic policy in the process of building socialism;Deng Xiaoping,as the leader of the world’s largest developing country,inherited Lenin’s ideas and made a great decision on reform and opening-up.Based on the comparative study of Lenin’s new economic policy and Deng Xiaoping’s reform and opening-up thoughts,it is found that in many respects the two have similarities.They all believe that building socialism is a long-term task and should take economic construction as the focus of construction;they all use the solution to rural problems as a breakthrough and gradually implement reform and opening up;they all advocate the development of socialism through capitalism.But at the same time,when Deng Xiaoping inherited Lenin’s ideas,he also surpassed Lenin’s thoughts,from the standard that“everything is now in practice”to the standards of productive forces and“three beneficial”.From opposition to empty shouting to no debate,from limited reform and opening-up to comprehensive reform and opening-up,to the destruction of policies and the continuity of policies,Deng Xiaoping’s reform and opening up theory has surpassed Lenin’s ideas.
