“六书”造字思维与现代平面设计初探

Preliminary Study on the Thought of “Liushu” and Modern Graphic Design

"六书"是中国汉字的构成方式,它作为中国最古老的设计物,其创制方法蕴含了智慧的传统设计思想,也反映了古人对于图像的视觉理解和经验总结。本文分析了汉字象形、指事、形声、会意造字法的造字基本特征,以及转注和假借的创意用字法则,在初探"六书"造字思维的同时进行总结与归纳,再试图从平面设计中的标志设计和海报设计的应用中得到一些启示并加以分析,为现代平面设计的发展增添新的思路和方法。

“Liushu” is the formation of Chinese characters.As the oldest design in China,its creation method contains the wisdom of traditional design ideas,and also reflects the ancient people’s visual understanding and experience summary of images.This paper analyzes the basic characteristics of Chinese character pictogram,fingering,shape sound,and intentional word making,as well as the creative use of the wording method of the transfer and false borrowing.It first explores,summarizes and induces the “Liushu” thinking.Some inspirations and analysis have been drawn from the application of logo design and poster design in graphic design,adding new ideas and methods for the development of modern graphic design.
