Connecting Society: the Survival Way of Universities

大学对接社会不仅是历史选择的表现,同时也是现实生存的要求。当前我国大学纷纷提出以社会需求来提升人才培养质量,多从社会需要的被动视角来改革教育,忽视了大学的主动性,长此以往大学的职能无法有效发挥。大学本应主动地对接社会,而且对接社会的前提必须是对人性的追求。文中将大学的宗旨理解为培养顶天立地的成人,而且顶天立地的品质应当与社会保持密切关系。文中将大学对接社会解释为对应社会各大子系统并连接社会发展趋势,为促进大学职能的实现,提出了三种对接方式。

Connecting universities with society is not only a manifestation of historical choice, but also a requirement of realistic existence. Improving the teaching quality of universities in China has been proposed in order to satisfy social needs of personnel training. They tried to reform education from the passive perspective of social needs, but ignored the initiative of universities so that the functions of the universities cannot be effectively played in the long run. Universities should actively connect with society, and its premise must be the pursuit of human nature. This article delivers the idea that the purpose of universities is to cultivate adults whose characteristics should be closely related to society. It also interprets connecting society as corresponding to the major subsystems of society and connecting the social development trend. In order to promote the realization of university functions, three ways are proposed.
