Based on research of the status quo of the informatization construction and application in the cost industry,and the analysis of characteristics of the cost data in real estate development and construction projects,this paper explores the necessity of an informatization platform of real estate cost consulting,and analyzes the construction points and application scope of the platform.Through the construction of the management system of the platform,it lays a solid data foundation for the cost consulting enterprises to carry out the real estate cost consulting business,thus improving the work efficiency and quality of cost consulting,ultimately upgrading the management and service and improving the core competitiveness of the enterprises.
