Electric power industry is an important part of China’s national economic development and one of China’s important basic energy industries,which plays a vital role in national economic development and social progress.In order to ensure the normal and stable development of the power industry,the design of reactive power compensation for primary design of substation is discussed and analyzed in detail.The existing problems in the design of reactive power compensation in China are analyzed,and practical and effective improvement suggestions are put forward in order to promote the stable and orderly development of the power industry in China.
