With the development of science and technology and the emergence of intelligent technology, the construction of electrical engineering has entered a new stage. The degree and level of electrical automation has become an important manifestation of a national electrical engineering level and even a comprehensive national strength. Promoting the application of electrical automation technology can make the operation of the power system safer and more efficient, thus promoting social development. This paper firstly expounds the basic concepts of electrical engineering and electrical automation technology, then analyzes the design concept of automation technology in power engineering, and finally discusses the application strategy of automation technology in power engineering.
