Mayo clinic is the world’s largest private non-profit integrated medical institution,which has been established for more than 100 years,and is known as“medical mecca”.The reason why Mayo clinic has been leading in the field of medicine for a long time is that it always keeps in mind and practices the philosophy of Mayo clinic since its establishment,namely pursuing the core value of“patients’needs first”,which is the key to its lasting vitality and the inherent mission of Mayo clinic.This paper aims to explore how Mayo clinic practices its core values of“patients’needs first”,in the hope of providing some reference for managers in China’s medical field.
