With the economic globalization,educational internationalization,international exchanges becoming more and more popular,college English teaching is facing many crises and challenges.ESP has brought new development and chances and paved a way for college English teaching.The paper focuses on how to integrate general English and ESP based on students’ need in financial and economic university to form a characteristic and scientific English course system and promote the development of students’ individualization and specialization.
