晚明士人精英意识的淡化——以吴中士人为例

The Weakness of Elite Consciousness in the Late Ming Dynasty in Case of Scholars in Wu Zhong

晚明时期,士人精英意识淡化,而在吴中地区尤为突出。首要的表现是传统士人的道德感、责任感在他们身上急剧下降。其次,他们的文学作品也表现出道德感、责任感淡化的倾向。在力图弱化文学的精英地位同时,他们更加注重文学的实用功能,甚至娱乐功能,作品的语言也呈现出明显的俗化倾向。

In late Ming Dynasty,the elite consciousness of scholars was weakened,especially in Wuzhong area. First and foremost,the traditional scholar's sense of morality and responsibility weakened sharply on them. Secondly,their literary works also show a tendency towards a sense of morality and a sense of responsibility. While trying to weaken the elite status of literature,they pay more attention to the practical function of literature,even entertainment function. The language of the works also shows a clear tendency of vulgarization.
