In a society with a high degree of development in contemporary science and technology,people have long been accustomed to the convenience that technology brings to our lives. Technology seems to solve all difficult problems,and even the drawbacks brought about by the development of technology itself are hoped to be solved through further development of technology. Technology seems to be everywhere,occupying the world with hegemony. However,as a traditional,mysterious and superstitious witchcraft,despite opposition and ban,it did not withdraw from the stage of history,but still survived in the corner of society. When modern technology is blocked,fails,or loses its effectiveness,it will turn backwards and return to traditional witchcraft,seeking help to solve its predicament. The return of technology to witchcraft is not simply retrogressive. It contains important principles. The analysis of the mechanism of returning to witchcraft is of great significance for re-examining technology and witchcraft.
