从社会史视角研究晋商碛口古镇

Study on Qikou Ancient Town from the Perspective of Social History

碛口古镇地处山西临县之南端。近代时期",口外"得到开发,碛口凭借黄河水运而成为北方著名的商贸重镇,是晋商的西大门,被称为"九曲黄河第一镇"。随着晋商研究的升温,碛口古镇研究颇引人注目,取得了一系列成果,但同时也面临不少困难。从社会史视角研究,可以为其注入新鲜血液和活力,开创碛口古镇研究的新格局。

Qikou is located at the southern end of Linxian in Shanxi Province. Areas outside the Great Wall have been developed since Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Qikou which is considered as the west gate of the Shanxi merchants becomes a famous commercial center in northern China by virtue of water transportation in the Yellow River and is called “the first town along the Yellow river”. In recent years, as the study on the Shanxi merchants heats up, the study on Qikou has been pretty striking with a series of achievements. But at the same time, it is also facing a lot of problems. From the perspective of social history, the research on it can be injected with fresh blood and energy, thus creating a new pattern of the study on the ancient town Qikou.
