Illustration is one of the typical forms of artistic expression in both paper media and digital media. From the view of the basic performance of Chinese element in the illustration, the thesis discussed the relationship of illustration art and Chinese element, put forward some countermeasures on how to improve the design level of Chinese style illustration.
