With reference to the development of social media and online identity technologies mentioned in the New Media Consortium Horizon Report:2017 Library Edition, this paper analyzes the characteristics of online identity and digital footprint of social readers in the Web3.0 environment and the difficulties encountered. Social reading is defined as the combination of social technology and reading. The discussion of socialized reading is from three aspects: enhancing digital literacy and reading ability of modern readers in schools and libraries, strengthening the monitoring of network contents, and stimulating reading demands by the government and responsible official units. Finally, the paper discusses how to enhance text reproduction and reading recommendations from the social reading platforms.
