Ammonia is widely used as a natural refrigerant in industrial refrigeration.Ammonia is toxic and flammable under certain conditions.Therefore,it is necessary to fully consider the characteristics and safety in the design,installation and use of ammonia refrigeration systems.The current status,selection points and matters needing attention in the installation and use of ammonia refrigeration valves in China are introduced in this paper.Through the correct use of ammonia valves,the refrigeration system will run smoothly,improve efficiency,and reduce safety hazards.
