塞内加尔苏非穆斯林兄弟会对社会契约的影响主要建立在其对穆斯林人民的高效治理,及其与政府权力的合作关系上。苏非兄弟会诞生于国家内忧外患之中,作为重建社会秩序的"救世主"树立威信后,兄弟会继续在精神教育与物质帮助的过程中获得教徒对其的依附。但兄弟会选择对政府进行权力让渡:它们利用自己与穆斯林人民的联结,积极配合政府发挥巩固统治、推进政策实施、维护社会秩序的纽带作用;作为交换,政府赋予兄弟会大量政治经济特权,触及社会生活的各个方面。
The role played by the Sufi brotherhoods in the Senegalese social contract is primarily based on their effective governance of the Muslim population and their cooperation with the public authorities.Born amid internal upheavals and external threats,the Sufi brotherhoods established their authority over the disciples as the messianic healer of society.Thanks to their religious instruction and their protection of people’s well-being,Muslim people switched their allegiance away from the cause of independence to the brotherhood community.Sufi brotherhoods then permitted the government to capitalize on their influence to ensure obedience of people,effective administration and a stable social order.In return,the authorities have granted them privileges in all areas.
