Kuzbas at a Critical Turning Point: The Resignation of Aman Tuleyev from the Post of Governor of the Kemerovo Region and its Prospects

阿曼·图列耶夫在克麦罗沃州州长的位置上坐了21个年头。2018年3月末发生在该州的一场火灾,成了其下台的导火索。图列耶夫当政期间,在库兹巴斯创建了特殊的政治秩序与经济关系。当前,该州处于转折时期,不仅是政治人物发生了更替,经济领域也需要转型。无疑,煤炭行业过去是、今后也仍将是库兹巴斯的经济支柱。

This article deals with the socio-economic and political features of the Kemerovo region as a subject of the Russian Federation in the context of the analysis of the results of the 21-year reign of Governor Aman Tuleyev,who recently left his post due to the fire which broke out in this region at the end of March 2018.During his reign,Tuleyev established special political order and economic relations.At present,this region is at a critical turning point both in political and economic fields.Undoubtedly,the coal industry was,is and will still be an important economic anchor for Kuzbass.
