The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2018 was awarded to F. H. Arnold, G. P. Smith and G. P. Winter. Their work helps people take control of biological evolution for purposes that bring the greatest benefit to humankind, including production of enzymes to synthetize everything from biofuels to pharmaceuticals and antibodies.
