This article summarizes the origin and features of Thangka, analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the Tibet Thangka industry, introduces the situation of Thangka standardization in Tibet and other regions, puts forward the suggestions on establishing Tibet Thangka standardization professional technical committee, constructs the idea of establishing Tibet Thangka standards system, in order to reach the goals of standardizing Tibet Thangka market and preserve Thangka art.
