大数据语境下,当我们谈到“云”这个字时,指的显然都不是漂浮在空中的由小水滴或小冰晶组成的聚合物。组成这朵云的,是无数的数据计算、储存、处理和共享等,它包含着庞大的网络资源,像网络信号一样充塞于我们身边。看不见,却无所不在。

The word “cloud” in the context of big data definitely does not refer to a floating polymer of small water droplets or ice crystals. The cloud is composed of countless data computing, storage, processing and sharing, etc. It covers a huge network of resources, just like the network signal filling around us. We can’t see it, but it's everywhere.
