Assembly engineering has become an important trend in the field of modem construction,and BIM system,as an important tool of project informatization,has greatly promoted the progress of the construction industry.Based on this,introduces the basic characteristics of BIM technology,and expounds the application value of BIM system in the whole life cycle of assembly engineering from the aspects of design,processing,construction and operation and maintenance of assembly projects,so as to promote the better development of assembly decoration engineering under the support of BIM technology.
