新加坡宗乡总会与华人文化传承发展

Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA) and the Inheritance and Development of Chinese Culture

20世纪七八十年代以来,随着亚太区域稳定发展,在新加坡政府政策转变和华人社团亟待破解发展困境的背景下,经政府大力推动,新加坡宗乡会馆联合总会应运而生。宗乡总会以发扬华族优良传统文化为宗旨,在推广华文教育、保存华人史料与重建华社记忆、传承发展中华传统节庆文化、推动宗乡文化复兴、促进种族和谐、加强中新文化交流等方面做出了重要贡献。宗乡总会作为新加坡政府推动成立的华人宗乡社团最高领导机构,应该适应时代需求,继续推进华人文化传承与发展,推动宗乡社团转型与改革,推进政府和宗乡社团互动发展,加强宗乡社团与中国祖籍地以及世界华人社团交流与合作。

With the stable development of the Asia-Pacific region since the 1970 s and 1980 s,the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations(SFCCA)came into being with the strong promotion of the government under the background of the policy change of the Singapore government and the urgent need to solve development dilemma of the Chinese clan associations. With the purpose of carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture,the SFCCA has made great contribution in promoting the Chinese language education,preserving Chinese historical materials and reconstructing the memory of the Chinese community,inheriting and developing the traditional Chinese festival culture,promoting the cultural revival of Chinese clan association,promoting racial harmony,and strengthening cultural exchanges between China and Singapore and so on. As the leading organ of Chinese clan association promoted by the Singapore government,the SFCCA should meet the demand of the era,keep promoting the development of Chinese culture,promote the transformation and reform of Chinese clan associations,promote the interaction between the government and Chinese clan associations,strengthen the exchanges and cooperation among the Chinese clan associations,ancestral home in China and Chinese associations in the world.
