Probe into the Ideological and Cultural Value of Su Shi's Historical Prose

苏轼史论散文的思想文化价值甚为重要。这可从三个层面管窥其丰厚的思想文化内涵与超时空文化价值。一是苏轼评价历史人物的标准:在历史人物的道德与功业二者之间,坚持把道德评价置于首位,不能用某些历史人物的所谓历史功绩掩盖或取代对其恶德的批判。二是苏轼整体把握历史轨迹走向的思维方式与评价倾向:注重强调风云人物主观因素的主导作用,不能功自当之,败则诿过于客观因素。三是苏轼评判历史人物、事件的目的:并不仅仅在于为历史人物定性,更重要的是要为当下现实提供借鉴,批判社会弊端,警醒时人。若立足当代文化层面观照,苏轼这些远见卓识的深刻思想在当下仍具有重要的认识意义与参考价值。

The ideological and cultural value of Su Shi’s historical prose is of great importance.In three levels,the author examines his rich ideological and cultural connotation as well as his cultural value beyond time and space.Firstly,Su Shi’s criteria for evaluating historical figures:between the morality and merit of historical figures,he insists on putting moral evaluation in the first place,and can not use the so-called historical merits of some historical figures to cover up or replace the criticism of their evil virtues.Secondly,Su Shi’s way of thinking and evaluation tendency of grasping the historical track as a whole.He focuses on the dominant role of the subjective factors of the heroes in the past,never take success for granted,nor blame failure to any object factor.Thirdly,Su Shi’s purpose of judging historical figures and events.He not only defines the attributes of historical figures,but also provides reference for the current reality,criticize social abuses and alert people.Even if we were studying them in contemporary cultural view,Su Shi ’ s profound and far-sighted thoughts should still have important cognitive significance and reference value at present.
