基于语料库的大学生英语写作中的连接词使用研究

Corpus-based Analysis of Connectors in College Students' Writing

本文通过在线写作平台批改网收集不同大学学生的作文文本,自建语料库,探索不同英语水平的大学生英语作文中的连接词频率、分布以及与英语常用连接词的关系,并将结果与本族语语料库LOCNESS对比。结果显示,中国大学学生在连接词使用频率上与本族语学生有显著差异,而语言水平在决定频率、分布以及与常用连接词的关系上不起决定性的作用。

This paper explored frequencies, distribution of connectors and its correlation with high-frequency English connectors in college students’ English writing of different language levels from different colleges based on the corpus built by the author with the help of online-based writing platform(www.pigai.org)and compared the results with native language corpus LOCNESS. The result showed that compared with native students, Chinese college students overused some connectors. Language level did not play a decisive role in determining frequencies, distribution and correlation with high-frequency English connectors.
