论南社诸子传记散文的特点和意义

On the Characteristics and Significance of the Biographical Prose Written by the Scholars of the South Society

南社文学创作丰富,然而对其传记散文的研究较为罕见。南社传记散文类型多样,题材不拘一格。其创作多用抒情笔法,富于政治教化,其中动态描写富有小说情趣,对细节施以戏剧性特写,并能借助心理透视技法,表现出鲜明的时代特点。本研究以南社诸子传记散文的突破为视角,进一步考察民国时期散文的发展变化,凸显南社在近现代文章史上、文学史上不可忽略的价值与意义,同时揭示了中国文学的现代化进程。

Despite of the abundant literary landscape and impressive literary creation of the South Society, the study of its biographical prose is relatively rare. Featured with various types and themes, the biographical prose is mostly lyrical and elegant, rich in inspiring political insights, with a lively touch of narrative fiction and dramatic details. The dynamic writing supported by the psychological perspective techniques shows distinct characteristics of the times. Based on the writing breakthrough of the South Society scholars, this study further investigates the development and changes of the biographical prose in the period of the Republic of China. It highlights the value and significance of the South Society in the history of modem and contemporary literature, and meanwhile, reveals the modernization process of Chinese literature.
