西周金文生称“周公”考

文章主要梳理了目前所见西周金文中生称周公的器物,通过与传世文献的对读和分析,提出了在二次克商和征伐东方诸叛国的战争中,部分战争为成王亲率或参与,而非周公一人所为;"明公"在金文中出现在三件不同的器物上,实指两代周公等观点,并提出了昭王后西周金文中罕见生称"周公"器物的疑点。

The article is a synthetic research of Western-Zhou-Dynasty bronze wares with inscriptions of the"Duke of Zhou."In comparison with historical records, the author argues that some of the battles in the second conquer of the Shang people and to the east should have been led by King Cheng, instead of the Duke of Zhou. The inscriptions the"Duke of Ming"appeared on three different vessels, which should refer to two generations of the"Duke of Zhou". Moreover, the author also investigates the weak points of the argument regarding the use of"Duke of Zhou"in bronze inscriptions after the reign of King Zhao during the Western Zhou period.
