摘要
本研究考察了高校英语教师对任务型教学理念的理解和课堂实施情况。通过对163位教师的问卷调查和22学时的课堂录音的定量和定性分析发现,高校英语教师对任务型教学原则的理解与实施之间存在差异。具体表现为:1)普遍认同任务型教学的交际原则;2)相比理念上的熟悉与认同,关于任务型教学的关键概念及操作方式的知识稍显欠缺;3)普遍有兴趣实施任务型教学;4)教学理念的理解与教学实践有脱节现象。这些发现对外语教学有启示作用。
This study aims to explore college EFL teachers’ perceptions and implementation of Taskbased Language Teaching(TBLT). An on-line questionnaire was conducted on 163 Chinese college teachers and 22 hours’ classroom teaching were recorded. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted and revealed that there were gaps between their perceptions and implementation.Specifically,(1) the communicative principles of TBLT were commonly approved;(2) a moderate lack of knowledge on the key concept and its way of operation was detected in comparison with their familiarity and approval of TBLT main principles;(3) a common interest was found in adopting TBLT;but(4) discrepancies were observed between theory understanding and classroom practice. These findings were discussed and their implications were suggested on language teaching.
