In the era of big data,how to improve the teaching effect,increase the interest and efficiency of class,and promote the generation of students'intelligence and meet the educational requirements of the Ministry of Education’s Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of High-Level Undergraduate Education and Improving the Ability of Personnel Training in an All-round Way.It is demonstrated that the complementary advantages of smart classroom and traditional English teaching can give full play to the leading role of teachers and students by analyzing the connotation and characteristics,advantages and limitations of the smart classroom and traditional English teaching.
