在关隘的功能发生转变后的今天,发掘好、整理好有关的文化资源,认识这些文化资源的当代内涵与现实意义,是目前学界亟待关注的问题之一。《雁门关文学与文化》在宏富的资料基础上展开,选取具有典型意义的文学现象,将几千年来发生在这座古老关隘的种种风云变幻记录下来,经过深入分析和解读,描绘出一幅有别于传统意义上的雁门关文化景象。这种守正求新的历史写作背后反映出来的文化自觉意识对关隘文化研究、地方文化研究都具有启发意义。

Nowadays, the function of the pass has changed. It is one of the problems that the academic circles need to pay attention to discover and organize the relevant cultural resources and to understand the contemporary connotation and practical significance of these cultural resources. The literature and culture of Yanmen Pass, which is based on the rich material, selects the literary phenomena of typical significance, and records the changes that have occurred in the ancient pass for thousands of years. After in - depth analysis and interpretation ,it depicts a cultural scene different from the traditional wild goose gate customs. The cultural consciousness reflected in this historical writing is enlightening for cultural studies and cultural studies.
